Made of weather-resistant Brazilian Cherry, the George Washington Rocker is a classic Shaker style, with a high back and wide double headrest. It is almost identical in style to our Franklin outdoor rocking chair, but 2" deeper and with slightly thicker structural elements throughout. It is beautifully proportioned, with comfortable, solid arms, and comfortably contoured seat slats. Also, the seat slats are "capped" with a nice smooth crosspiece in front for added comfort. The back posts are not straight – they are cut with an angle that makes this outdoor rocking chair incredibly comfortable. The headrest and back slats are contoured from left to right for comfort as well. Runners and posts are thick, and there are attractive side slats on each side that cover the seat slats as viewed from the side. Chair arms are stylishly curved and quite comfortable. Available in Natural Oil, Black Paint, White Paint, Green Paint, Weathered Black, Weathered White, Weathered Wine, Mahogany Stain, Cherry Stain.
