This ultra high quality stand is made of weather-resistant Brazilian Cherry. It is available in Natural Oiled finish, as shown above, and in White Exterior Paint. This swing stand is 42 pounds of solid Brazilian Cherry – a wood comparable to teak and far higher quality than the pine, cedar, oak, and other NON-weatherproof woods most swing stands are made of. This stand has been engineered for outdoor use at every step: the wood has been 100% kiln-dried, all hardware is exterior grade, glue is non-water soluble, and all construction is mortise and tenon.
